If I had to pick a "follower favorite" piece from my closet, it'd be a tie between my gold boots and this floral, embroidered bomber jacket. Found at Anthropologie in The Mall in Columbia, this jacket is one of my favorite pieces, too!
To be honest, florals for Spring are never groundbreaking. And typically, I'm very picky about any floral. I have a really hard time finding florals I love because often times, they're basic, tacky, or predictable, designed in redundant shapes, color palettes and printed on familiar silhouettes.
What florals capture my attention, you ask? I want texture. I want unconventional shapes, innovative designs, unique color palettes. I want a floral to capture my attention!
In recent years, I've gravitated toward floral jackets because they add an unconventional flair to any look. While we're used to seeing floral dresses, shirts, a floral bomber or blazer jacket stand out in a crowd.
